THE CROFTON PUMPING STATION, WILTON, WILTSHIRE.<br />
TWO STEAM POWERED BEAM ENGINES PUMP WATER INTO THE KENNET AND AVON CANAL.<br />
ONE IS THE OLDEST BEAM ENGINE IN THE WORLD STILL CAPABLE OF PERFORMING IT'S ORIGINAL TASK.<br />
THE STATION IS FIRED UP BY VOLUNTEERS  ON A REGULAR BASIS. PICTURED IS STEVE PICKHAUL WHOSE JOB IT IS TO FEED THE BOILER.
